K-2nd Summer Camp: Painting

Description: During Painting week, kids will be introduced to the color wheel and color temperatures, while learning how to use brush strokes to use different types of paints, such as tempera, watercolor, and acrylics. We’ll learn how texture and pattern can convey different types of objects and ideas on a 2D surface. Painting can be messy and so much fun! We will focus more on exploration and experimentation than the final product.

Age: K-2nd Grade (Students should have completed 2nd grade, 1st grade, or Kindergarten)
