3rd-5th Summer Camp: Wheel Throwing

Description:  In Wheel Throwing week, kids will get a chance to really spend some time on the pottery wheel! We’ll work on the basics of wheel throwing, such as centering clay on the wheel and pulling the walls of the vessel up to become a cup or a bowl. On the last day of class, we’ll glaze our finished pieces. After a few weeks they’ll be fired in our kiln and ready to pick up and bring home!
